Program Rules & Guidelines
This Program utilizes the National Federation of High Schools Track and Field rules along with several amendments. The complete North American Program rules can be found at the following web address: www.hersheystrackandfield.com
Louisiana's Amended Rules
 | 7 and 8 year olds, as determined by their age as of December 31, 2010, may compete in the Program up to the State Meet. |
| First and second place finishers for each event in each group will qualify for the State Meet from each Local, provided each participant does not violate the maximum of 3 events plus a Relay rule as stated in the North American Rulebook for the 9/10 and 11/12 age groups. |
